Sia was sitting in the conference room, kabir was standing beside her, he had a notepad in his hand in which he was making important notes., "Ma'am perhaps we should give 20% discount to our customers, this will increase our sales a lot..", one of the board member said.

"Oh really Mr. Oberoi.., and why do I have to give this much discount.., so that my company faces losses..", she said her eyes have boring holes in his body. "No.. no ma'am..", he said shuttering.

"Make it 10 % and inspect them, and take care that now no product turns out to be defective..", she said her voice cold and authoritative. They nodded and everyone left from there., as she stood, she felt dizzy and stumbled but Kabir held her hand but she didn't fall.

She felt a chill run down in her spine, she jerked his hand away.., "Don't touch me..", she said and took a step back. "I'm.. sorry ma'am..", he said taking his step back. She left from there without looking at him. She came in her cabin, her breath was ragged, she went to her table, and with a trembling hand she took the glass of water and gulped it down in one go.

"Calm down.. Sia.., he is far away from you.., he can't hurt you.. calm down..", she murmured to herself.

She sat on her chair, and rested her head on rest and closed her eyes, you're nothing just a useless freak.., you think I'll ever love you.., tck.. I just used you.., words echoed in her ears, she opened her eyes, sweat beads came out, she wiped out her sweat and took the telecom, "Riya one plate kachori..", she ordered Riya in telecom.

After some time, Riya entered with a packet of food and served her on a plate. "Leave..", Sia said Riya leave. Sia took the kachori and took a bite, spices exploded on her taste buds, She took green chutney making them more spicy. She took another bite, she felt the spice too much but she didn't care.., she just wanted to block all the words, she eat another one, her face turned red, "you're strong Sia..", she murmured and took another bite.

"Uh.. uh..", she coughed but didn't stop the eating. "Ma'am stop..", she heard Kabir voice, she raised her head and looked at him who was standing in front of her with concern.

"What.. are you.. doing here..", she said coughing badly. Her eyes were red, face full red.

"Ma'am please drink water", he said and forwarded a glass of water. "I don't want..", she said and take another bite of spicy kachori, but this time it stuck in her throat and she coughed badly. Kabir quickly brought the glass of water near her mouth, she clutched the glass, and drank the water. He caressed her back, she looked at him with side eyes, his face itched with concern.

She gulped the water, then her eyes went on her hand which was over him in glass. "Uh..", she cleared her throat and left the glass. Kabir also take a step back. After some silence she asked "what are you doing here and why didn't you knock on the door.", as she said her voice was firm but soft.

"Ma'am I knocked but I did not get any answer.., we have to go for another meeting..", Kabir said instantly.

"Ok you go i'll come in a little while...", she said, he nodded and left. She threw the waste in the dustbin and then cleaned her face and last time looked at herself, she came out of the cabin. Sia and Kabir left for the meeting. The meeting was about to take place in a 5 star hotel. She entered a private room, there was a man sitting there, Sia and Kabir also sat.

"Hello SR, nice to meet you.. that man said.

"Hello Mr. Singh, nice to meet you too..", she said shook her hand with him, but he held her hand more than he should, she pulled her hand back,

"So you want to buy that land from me..", Mr. Singh said.

"Yes.., I'll give you the double of the actual price..", she said with her usual cold voice. "Oh no.. no SR you know quite a few people are ready to give me 3 to 4 times extra money to buy that land from me.., but I can give it to you.. in one condition..", Mr. Singh said with a smirk.

"And what is it..", she asked.

"Not much just one night with me..", he said shamelessly. Sia clenched her jaw and she made a fist. Kabir looked at him with shock then his face turned into disgust.

"What is this stupid act.., how can you say such a thing about a girl..", Kabir yelled. Sia looked at him with amusement.

No one ever talked on behalf her, an almost faint smile came on her face but then it faded when Mr. Singh said, "stay within your limits.. you are just a secretary, you don't even know who you are standing in front".

"Kabir.. leave..", Sia said with an expressionless face.

"But ma'am", he was saying but she cut him off. "I said leave kabir i want to talk to Mr. Singh in private and you too also leave..", she said to Mr. Singh secretary also.

Both of them went away without saying anything. Kabir was worried for her. "So tell me what you want to talk about alone with me SR..", Mr. singh said with a disgusted grin and looking at her with lustful eyes. She stood up from the couch and went near him, her face expressionless.

"Oh you're so desperate didn't you..", he said and took out his coat, as he was about to open his shirt, a slap echoed in room his face turned to other side, Mr. Singh looked at her with shocked.

"You bitch how dare you slap me..", he shouted and stood up, "Like this..", she said and slapped his other cheek, his face contorted in anger he raised his hand to slap her but she grab his wrist and twist it., he scream in pain, but it was soundproof room due to which his scream did not reach outside.

She punched his face, he fell on the ground. "You bloody bastard how dare you talk me like this, did you forget who I'm..", she said gritted her teeth and beat the shit out of him. He was trying to fight back but her moves fast.

At the end he was groaning in pain on ground. She straightened her suit "keep your land yourself.., and never forget this lesson..", she said and came out of the room.

Kabir was pacing here and there., as he saw her.., he came to her.., "take this.., and get your boss treated properly in a hospital, now he will not be able to get up from bed for at least a month..", Sia said and took Mr. Singh secretary gave a credit card, and left from there. Kabir followed her.

She sat in the car, Kabir sat in the passenger seat, her driver drove the car. "Ma'am.. are you fine..", he asked hesitantly. "hmm..", she just hummed and rested her head and closed her eyes.

"Take me to Little Joy cafe..", she said to her driver, he nod. Kabir looked at her with surprise. This is the same cafe where I often go.., he thought in his mind.

After an hour they reached the cafe. They came out of the car and entered the cafe. She took window side table. He was standing beside her. "Why are you standing sit down..", she said he hesitantly sat in front of her. A waiter came and asked, "Ma'am what do you want to order..".

"A hot chocolate milkshake...", she said.

"Sir.. oh Kabir, what will you take today.. something special or should I take it as usual..", that waiter who must be of Kabir's age said.

"Take my as usual..", he said with small smile. He nod and left.

"Do you come here often..", she asked with raised brow.

"Yes ma'am I come here with my friend..", he replied. "Oh okay..", she said and for some time there was silence, after that the waiter took their order and went on., Kabir ordered an Oreo shake.., "Is it your favorite drink..", she asked taking her hot chocolate sip.

"Um.., yes..", he replied and took the sip of his shake. "So what's your hobby Kabir..", she asked suddenly. He choked on his shake., and coughed a little. "huh.. what..", he asked composing himself.

"Favorite hobby..", she asked casually. "I like playing guitar and singing..", he replied his eyes shine a little.

"Umm.. if you don't mind can I ask a personal question..", she asked. he gulped and nodded.

"Who is there in your family..", she asked trying to be casual. "mom dad, bhai bhabhi and me..", he replied with a smile. "Oh you have an elder brother..", she said in deep thought.

"Yes.. and he loves me so much.., he cares me a lot and my bhabhi is also so cute and kind..", he started telling about his family.., meanwhile Sia was lost in her thought of her and her elder sister childhood moments.

"Ma'am", Kabir called her.., she came in her sense and looked at him.., "huh.., what happened..", she asked.

"Um.. your milkshake is getting cold..", he said. she nod and drink it.., they both were drinking their shakes when Aarav and Prerna also came to the cafe., Aarav was placing an order at the counter when Prerna's eyes fell on Kabir.., "Aarav is he Kabir", she asked Aarav pointing towards Kabir.

"Yes.., but what is he doing here at this time.. and who is this girl..", he said looking Sia back.

"Let's go and ask him...", she said. They both went there. "Kabir what are you doing here..", Aarav asked Kabir. He was surprised to see his bhai bhabhi here. but Sia and Prerna was shocked seeing each other.

"Sia".. "Pre.. Prerna", Sia and Prerna said together. Sia stood and hugged Prerna tightly.

"Oh god prerna finally I met you..", she said. Prerna came out of shock, she pushed Sia and slapped her hard, her face turned to side., a gasp came out of Kabir and Aarav mouth, Kabir was looking this with horror.

"Bhabhi what have you done.., she is my boss..", Kabir said with disbelief. Your job has gone, Kabir.., his subconscious mind said. Sia and Prerna snap their heads towards Kabir.

"Bhabhi..", "boss..", both said together in unison. "You are Kabir's sister-in-law Prenu..", Sia asked with shock.

"So you are Kabir's time bomb boss whose anger can explode anytime", Prerna said. Kabir held his head.., Bhabhi what are you doing, now Kabir you're gone., Kabir thought in his mind. Sia looked at Kabir with narrowed eyes. He gulped in fear.

"You both knew each other..", Aarav asked in the middle. "Aarav, I was telling you that I had a best friend.. she is the one..", Prerna said.

"And you.. where did you go suddenly, you did not think of me even once.., you know how many times I called you.., I searched for you so much..", Prerna said angrily but there was pain also.

"I.. I am sorry..", Sia said with head bowed. "I don't want your apology, I don't even want to talk to you.., Aarav let's go from here..", Prerna said and held Aarav's hand.

"No Prerna please.. listen yrr.." Sia tried to hold Prena's hand but she jerked her off.

"I don't want to hear anything you say..., you are not my friend, otherwise you wouldn't have left me and disappeared just like that...", prerna said and left from there with Aarav.

She looked helpless, Kabir wanted to say something to her but he was not able to understand what he should do.

"ma'am that meeting...", Kabir said but she cut him off and said "cancel all the meetings", she said her voice turned cold again.

Kabir nod, Sia came out of cafe and sat in her car, Kabir again sat in the passenger seat. "Leave Kabir in company and let's go home...", Sia said with an expressionless face.

"No ma'am its okay.. I will take the cab", Kabir said and unbuckled his seat belt.

"Do what I said..", she was looking towards the driver but her words were for Kabir. Kabir stopped his hand, the driver started the car and turned it towards the company.., he buckle his belt again.

After dropping Kabir in company, she came to her penthouse, as she entered, she felt her legs weak and collapsed on the sofa, she palmed her face and takes a deep breath.

"You deserve this..., You deserve to be alone...", she heard a voice.., her inner voice, she raised her head and saw herself.

It was sitting in front of her and had a smirk on her face, Sia jaw clenched, she grabbed a vase and throw it towards her.., but it passed through her and hit on floor.

She grabbed her hair in her fist "ahhh... just fucking stop it.. stop bothering me..", she screamed when she again looked infront there was no one there.

She stood and went to her room, and went to the washroom, she stood inside under the shower, the cold water cascade on her body, she closed her eyes and rested her head on the shower wall.

A memory hit her, 2 girls were sitting in the cafeteria chatting with each other, "Sia now school is about to end.., then will you forget me..", prerna asked with a sad pout.

"No Prenu you are my best friend I will never forget you..", Sia said with a warm smile.

"Promise..", Prerna asked with a hopeful smile.

"Promise Prenu see I have brought this bracelet for you.., one of yours and one of mine.. till when will this be with me.. I will never forget you..", Sia said with a cheerful smile and gave Prerna a handmade bracelet.

Sia opened her eyes, her eyes were red, she turned off the shower and changed in a night suit, she came in the room and opened the cupboard and picked a box, she sat on bed and opened it, there were some old things.

It felt like nostalgia, she picked up a beaded bracelet.., "I didn't forget my promise prenu..", sia murmured to herself, she touched a card it was a farewell card which prerna give sia, there are some photos of them with each other smiling. "I can never forget those days.., can't we live those days again", a weak smile came on her face.  She closed the box and put it again in the cupboard.

In kabir house

Kabir family was sitting in the hall, Aarav was looking for Prerna who was sitting quietly since she came back home. "Aarav, tum to kuch batao, prerna aise udas kyu baithi hai", his mom asked with concern.

(Aarav, you tell me, why is Prerna sitting so quietly)

"Mom, today Prerna met her school best friend", Aarav replied.

"Is it the same girl about whom Prerna had told us all?", his mom asked, Aarav nod,

"This is a good thing, then what happened to her", his dad said.

"But Prerna got angry with her and ran away from there, now she is sad..", Aarav said.

Kabir also came home early from the office.., "Kabir you came so early today..", his mom asked. He looked at Aarav and Prerna, then replied, "yes mom, there was not much work in the office..".

"how is she Kabir..", Prerna asked suddenly. Kabir looked hesitant but then said.., "I don't know Bhabhi.. she dropped me in the company and then went to her house".

"Who are you talking about..", Aastha ji asked. "Mom.., Prerna's friend, she is Kabir's boss..", Aarav said, a gasp came out of Aastha ji's mouth.

"What.. SR.., she is Prerna's friend..", his dad asked in shock.

"No, my friend was Sia.. but.. that SR.. when, why and how did she become like this.., my Sia was not like this at all.. she was very innocent and pure hearted", Prerna said and palmed her face.

Just then a news came on TV, "The corporate world queen SR has met with an accident, the doctor is told that it is impossible for her to survive", everyone's head snaps to the news.

They all looked at the news in shock. "what… no… this cannot happen", Prerna said, her body shivers in shock and pain.

"Aarav I want to go to her… please…", Prerna said crying. "shh… calm down Prerna we are going…", Aarav said hugging her. They both came out of the house.

"bhai wait I am also coming…", Kabir said they all sat in the car and left for the hospital which was showing in the news. Half an hour later they reached the hospital, there was already a lot of media there…, which was just spreading the news about SR, they entered the hospital and went towards the OT but some guards stopped them.

"Sorry sir but you all cannot go ahead", a guard said. "My friend is inside let me go", Prerna said. "Sorry ma'am but no one is allowed there", the guard said again. Just then Kabir's eyes fell on one side and he eyes went wide in shock…, "Bhabhi look there…", Kabir said his voice filled with shock.

Prerna saw Sia sitting comfortably on the seat kept outside the waiting room, her arms and head were bandaged but there was no sign of pain on her face, she was having coffee…, Prerna went there quickly, Aarav and Kabir also went behind them.

"Sia…", Prerna called desperately. Sia raised her head and saw, her expression was unreadable. "What are you doing here..", Sia asked her voice calm and calculating, like nothing happened.

Prerna looked at her with disbelief. "What happened to you.., and the news came on TV that your accident happened.. and doctor..", her voice stuck in her throat, she was not able to complete her sentence.

"Nothing happened I'm fine..", Sia said, her expression didn't change.  a doctor came to her.., "ma'am.. i'm sorry he.. didn't able to.. make it..", he said hesitantly.

"What..", a voice came from behind.  They turned and saw a middle aged couple, "what has happened to my son..", that lady said. "he is no more..", the doctor said. "What are you saying… this cannot happen…", that lady said and started crying.

"This has already happened… Mrs. Thakkar", Sia said with an expressionless face. Mrs. Thakkar looked at Sia with anger and said, "you… all this has happened because of you…, my son lost his life because of you".

Sia raised a brow and a small smirk came on her face, everyone looked at her with surprise. She took steo towards Mrs. thakkar and said with a low yet dangerous voice, "I didn't tell him to drive while drinking, it's his fate that he died, it's not my fault.., and for you kind information, your son forcefully took me with him, and don't blame me for something I didn't do.., it's called Karma and when Karma hit no one can stop it..", a shiver sent in mrs. thakkar spine.

"Behave Sia you are not sad at all, he was your fiance..", Mr. Thakkar said angrily. she chuckled but there was no humor in that.., "before becoming his wife I liked to die Mr. Thakkar, and before getting angry at me if you had seen your son's antics then today your son would have not passed..", she said and turned, "let's go from here..", she said to Prerna, Aarav and Kabir.

They followed Sia, and came out from the back side. "You wait here, I will bring the car..", Aarav said to Prerna.., he went to take his car, "want to come with me or you're going..", Sia asked, this time it was little softly.

"Coming with you", prerna said, Sia nod and sat in her car, aarav followed  her car.

Their cars enter in a high figh area The whole place was quite beautiful... there was garden full of every flowers, there was a fountain, and a beautiful villa. Guards open the door of her car, she came out, prerna aarav and kabir was in shocked to see the villa, "come inside..", she said, they all enter in villa.

Servants came out and stand in a line bowing their heads, "please sit..", she offered them, they sit and prerna asked suddenly.., "Sia you changed so much".

"Really.. I dint think so..", Sia said casually. A servant came and gave them water, she gulped it down.

"Who else lives here.., I mean your parents..", Kabir asked. "No.. he live in his own mansion and I also don't live here..", she replied. "So where do you live..".

"I have an apartment where I live.., you all have come today that is why I came here.", she said and then turned towards the head butler, "you get the dinner ready..", the head butler nodded and left from there.

"You all also leave", she said coldly. All servants left. "Now tell me the truth, what is happening after all.., how did this accident happen.., and why are you behaving like this, your fiancé died and it did not matter to you.., and the most important thing is that why you suddenly disappeared 7 years ago.", Prerna asked back to back questions.

"First of all this accident happened because arvind was driving while drinking I tried to stop him but he didn't.. and I literally don't feel sad about that asshole, secondly it was dad who decided Arvind and me to get married for just f@cking deal, and last one.. I just can't tell you..", she said, her voice cold and calculating with no emotions.

They looked at her in shock, "I can't believe you changed so much..", Prerna said in utterly shocked face. 

"Believe it prerna.., I'm like this.. I don't care about anybody's feelings.., now the only thing that matters to me is SR Empire.., no one else..", she said with dark expression, a chill ran down in their spine.

"Im coming after changing", she said while standing, for a moment Kabir and Sia eyes met before she turned and went upstairs, she entered in master bedroom, room theme was silver and gold, there was a king size bed in the middle of the room, she went to washroom, a lavish washroom, there was everything anyone wants, and everything was high brands, she strip and enter in shower.

As the warm hit her wound, she shut her eyes, her jaw clenched and made a fist, her nails digging into her palms, but she didn't let any weakness show.  You're strong Sia.., she whispered herself. she cleaned all the blood and came out of the shower, wearing a robe.., and dried her hair, there was a cut on her forehead, she took a first aid kit and applied an ointment on her forehead and arm then bandage it herself.

After changing into a comfortable pair of t shirt and lower, she came down, Aarav Prerna and Kabir were sitting there, there was an uncomfortable silence, "what happened why are you so silent..", Sia asked sitting on the sofa in front of them. "Why are your servants looking at us like we are doing some antics", Prerna said while sitting uncomfortable. Sia's eyes narrowed.

"Anita Aunty..", Sia called, the head butler came, "everyone should leave the house at this time..", she said her expression dark. Anita aunty nodded and went to the kitchen where every servant, she told them to leave no one has the guts to argue, they all left there. 

"Why did you do this..", Prerna said with wide eyes. "You said you were uncomfortable, didn't you..", Sia asked resting her head on sofa rest. Prerna looked at aarav, their expression matching, a shocked expression.
