Kabir POV

I was standing on the roof, and was just looking at the moon, "what is happening to me Mahadev, how can I feel for her, this is wrong that she is my boss, and I am just a assistant, on top of that she is my sister-in-law's friend, she is three years older than me, no this is wrong, I have to stay away from her", I said to myself promising myself to stay away from her, and I'll resigned after this month end as bhai said. It'll be good for me, her and everyone.

Next day I reached the office in time and saw the scheduled meetings, oh god there are 5 meetings today, I went to her cabin and knocked on her cabin door, "come in..", her usual cold voice came, but now I'm habitual of her this voice, I opened the door and looked at her, she was sitting in her chair, her head was on headrest of her chair and her eyes were closed,

"Ma'am you have a meeting after half an hour", she opened her eyes and looked at me, her eyes were slight red, didn't she slept last night, I thought and I felt worries for her, she closed her eyes again and said, "okay.. get the  Conference room ready and tell everyone to be present in time, I'll be there in time", she said her voice low, almost a tired whisper.  

I took a step towards her to check if she is okay or not, but then bhai words rang in my ear and I stopped in my track and looked at her face, Did she really kill Abhay's brother? I thought in my mind looking at her face, her facial expression were tense, line of worries in her forehead.

I remember everything what happens with me in these past days, her anger, her cold behaviour, That day there was a fight in the cafe, then that gun shot in the alley, her pet, and she almost killed another man last night, definitely staying close to her is only a danger, I have to stay away from her.

"Where are you lost Kabir...", I heard her voice and I was taken back when I see her infront of me, so close to me, her hand almost touching my face, I took a step back, her hand remained in the air, and for a moment I think I saw disappointment but then her eyes become cold again.

She took a step back and turned around, "leave..", her voice was soft yet I felt a pang in my heart. I left the cabin and came back on my own. I sat there, "why is it hurting to see her disappointing eyes, why am I feeling this.., hey Mahadev please do something.., you also know this is wrong then why.., why am I being pulled towards her..", I held my head in my hands.., my head is paining.

The whole day, went in meetings and checking the files. I was hell tired, and her behavior, what happened to her, I made two mistakes through meetings but she didn't lash out, she calmly talked to me.

I see how her jaw clenched in anger but still she didn't raised her voice, but when another manager did just small mistake, she lashed out all her anger, and I see how she was looking at me with side eyes, but I didn't looked at her, I want to but I just can't.

I have come to her cabin asking if I can go home, as I entered I saw the whole room was in dark, the only light was coming from moonlight though glass wall, she was standing near glass wall amd looking outside, lost in her thoughts.

"Ma'am", I called her, she turned her face towards me, the moonlight casting a soft glow on her face, I felt my heart beat fasten I feel her gaze, "Yes, Kabir", she said looking at me.

"Ma'am all the work is done if there is no work can I go home", I asked hesitantly.   she looked in my eyes for a moment before saying.., "why are you behaving weird Kabir", she asked gently.. not firm, not cold, just softly.  

I looked at her with confusion, but little did I know what she was asking, I felt my heart beat fasten. "No... there is nothing like this...", I stammered breaking the eye contact. She looked at me for a moment as if still processing my words.

She took a step towards me, I took a step back until my back hit the wall., I looked at her with nervousness, "ma'am what are you doing..", I asked nervously.

"Why are you changing me..", she said her voice was soft yet firm. I looked at her with wide eyes, "what..", I asked.  Her gaze remained intense, looking into my eyes, which sent shivers in my body.

"You're making me hate myself more, you're fucking changing me and it's not right, I can't change, I can't become the one I was before, because I know that it'll just give me pain, and I'm tired, I don't have the strength to go through that pain again, so get as far away as you can, before I break a innocent soul again", I never saw her this vulnerable her eyes held pain, and it's breaking something inside my chest, her hand touch my face.

I felt her hand trembled, her eyes traveled to my eyes to my lips, and leaned towards me.., my breath hitched, I wanted to push her, but I felt my whole body freeze in that moment. as her lips were a mere inch far from me, I tightly shut my eyes.

Sia POV

I never felt this vulnerable but the way he is changing me, it's make me hate myself, how can I be so selfish, I just can't destroy another pure soul, I was already in guilt for my past mistake, I want him to stay away from me, but the only thought is breaking me, don't I deserve care and maybe just a little love, why.. why it's happening to me.

I looked at his tightly shut eyes and the fear on his face and it breaks my heart. A bitter smile came on my face, I removed my hand and took the step back creating distance between us. He opened his eyes abruptly.

I turned around, "After this month end you can leave this company as your brother said", I said yes I had heard Aarav's words that day.

I was about to leave the party, when I remember that I had to talk to Kabir about next day's meeting, but when I heard Aarav's words, I felt a pain, but what broke my heart was that Kabir did not argue, but how did I forget, I behave so rudely towards him, He is scared of me, maybe he'll be happy that he didn't have to endure my anger, so without talking to him I left the party.

"ma'am you..", he hesitates.

"Hmm.. it's okay.. your brother is right, your staying near me can put your life in danger, so just leave, and tell Prerna also that she should not call me, I don't want to become the reason for someone's death again", I said without turning back, I closed my eyes trying to held the tears which was threatening to spill out.

"Ma'am.. i..", I cut him between, "just leave Kabir.. please..", I said my voice was hoarse. for a moment there was silence and then I heard my cabin door open and closing voice, a lone tear came out, a choke ful sob came out of my mouth.

Two days later:

Today is Pihu birthday and she is adamant that she wants her Dimple uncle in tonight's birthday party, in these two days, I was trying to ignore him, but now how do I make Pihu understand, "please bacha, he is busy he will not be able to come", I said caressing her head, we are in her room.

She turned her face in anger, "no I want Dimple uncle., if he does not come then I will not cut the cake", she said stubbornly

I closed my eyes, I have made my heart understand but now how can Pihu, "okay.. I will try that he also comes to the party today", as I said her eyes shine and she hugged me tightly.

"you're the best  mumma..", she chimed in happiness, I smiled and kissed her head, its only 4 days left for the month end and then he will leave, then how will I handle pihu, I sighed in tension. 

I reached office with pihu because she wanted to invite her dimple uncle by herself. She was waiting for him to come, and after some time, he came in my cabin, as Pihu saw him, she ran to him and clung to his leg, a smile came in his face and his dimple formed, and fuck I was yearning for this smile for fucking days, he took her in his arm

"Happy birthday Pihu..", he wished her with a bright smile, she giggled and kissed his cheek, "thank you dimple uncle", I felt a pang of jealousy as she kisses his cheek.

"Are you coming to my birthday party", Pihu asked with hopeful eyes, Kabir looked at me as if asking me what he has to answer.

"If you don't have any plans tonight you can come with us", I said with a soft voice, yes now I talk to him softly not raising my voice, cause I saw how he scared whenever I raised my voice on him.

"Are you not celebrating her birthday here..", he asked with questioning eyes, before I replied pihu said with excitement, "no dimple uncle we'll go to crystal Palace you know it's beautiful", he was surprised hearing about crystal palace.

At 5 in the evening I told Kabir to get ready, At 6 we all got ready, Pihu was wearing a white frock with a cute white bow in her hair while I was wearing a white evening gown with a slit till thigh.  Kabir was wearing a grey t-shirt with black pants and a jacket was in his hand.

we all came out of the company and sat in my car and the driver drove us towards the airport, we came out and entered the airport and board in my private jet, Kabir was literally shocked to see all this, I chuckled internally, he was looking like a child, who was looking around curiously. 

His eyes were sparkling, he and pihu were talking all the way till island, as we land there and came out, the whole sky was sparkling, fire crackers bursting everywhere, we came out and a car was already waiting for us, it was decorated with balloons and soft toys, pihu eyes sparkled, the driver opened door for us, we climbed in.
"mumma its beautiful..", she said in full of joy and excitement, "anything for your happiness princess..", I said and kissed her forehead. After some time we reached the crystal palace, the whole pathway was decorated with flowers and balloons, we came out of the car, her eyes sparkling in joy while Kabir eyes widened in shock, thrill and excitement shined in his eyes.

"welcome your highness", the guards said bowing their heads. I nodded and entered the palace, all the servants stood in a two rows of the sides and bowed their head, At the forefront was the head butler Kavita Aunty, but I never treat her like servant, she was working in our house, since I was child but after mrs. Raichand came, she took her out of the job, but 2 years ago I put her back to work, and since she is living only.

"How are you Sia baby.." she asked with softness, "I'm fine aunty and thanks for arranging everything..", I said with tenderness. "It's my job", then she looked at pihu, "Happy birthday pihu baby..", she said.

"Thank you nani ma..", Pihu said kissing her cheeks, yaa.. Pihu called her nani ma.

Then the sound of some people's steps came there, they turned and saw four people coming inside, one of whom was Victor, and the rest were the same three who had come to Sia's mansion that day, Anvesha, Lucas and Angelina, "Your highness", they bowed their heads but Victor stood there not saying anything nor bowing his head, he was looking straight without any expression. Sia didn't say anything to him.

"Di..", then Aryan's voice came from there, once again everyone's eyes went towards the gate from where Aryan was coming in, he had a big smile on his face and a big teddy bear in his hand.

"mamu..", Pihu chirped and her eyes sparkled seeing the big teddy, she ran towards him, Aryan bend down and pick Pihu in his arm and spun her, she giggle wholeheartedly, "happy birthday princess..", Aryan said with a big smile on his face.

"Thank you mamu..", Pihu said and kissed his cheek. He put her down and gave the teddy bear to the servant so that he could keep him in Pihu's room. 

Aryan came near Sia and hugged her, "I missed you di", she smiled slightly and hugged him back, she caressed his hair and kissed his head. "I missed you too Aru..", she said.

"Everything is fine there", she asked as she pulled back from the hug, "yaa.., but you know your friend sister is just so annoying, she talks so much, I might go deaf listening to her chatter..." Aryan said with making face, she chuckled.

"Don't say like this, Seher is such a smart and innocent girl", Sia said. "Huh.. whatever I don't want to talk about her, just 2 years I'll complete my degree and then I'll  come back to India", aryan said rolling his eyes with a small smile on his lip, Sia nodded.

"Let's go", Sia said picking Pihu in her arm, and taking a step towards the backyard, "are mumma.. Dimple uncle is standing there..", Pihu said looking over Sia's shoulder.

Kabir was standing in his place, feeling out of place and people, he felt awkward because he didn't know anyone here. And then everyone's eyes fell on Kabir, and they began to look at him with surprise.

"Sia baby who is he.., till date you have not brought anyone to this Island", Kavita ji asked in a surprising tone. "He is my secretary kavita aunty", Sia replied in a firm voice. "come with us..", she said to him, but her voice was soft and every servant looked at her with disbelief, they never heard her talking to anyone this softly, she just talk this softly with pihu and Aryan.

All of them came to backyard, which was beautifully decorated with flowers, balloons and soft toys, she put down Pihu and she jumped here and there with happiness, she was looking like a kangaroo. A servant came with a 3 tier princess cake, and placed center in garden. 

"Pihu come", Sia called pihu, she came near her, she was overjoyed looking at the cake, as she picked knife to cake, sia stopped her hand and said, "pihu wish maa first..", Sia said. 

"Oh haa..", Pihu turned and looked towards the sky. "Happy birthday Priya maa..", she said joining her hands with a smile.

A small smile came on Sia's face, "Happy birthday Priya di..", Aryan said looking towards the sky, his eyes brimmed with tears, Sia closed her eyes to stop the tears, "Happy birthday di..", she whispered and opened her eyes, her eyes were red but a slight smile on her face.  

"Huh.. what is this, why are pihu calling maam's sister's mother", Kabir whispered but Kavita aunty heard him, "because Priya is pihu's mother..", she said her eyes filled with unshed tears.

"What.. isn't siya ma'am is her mother", Kabir said with disbelief.  

"Maasi bhi to maa hi hoti hai..", Kavita aunty said with a small smile looking at the bond Sia and Pihu had. Kabir looked at pihu who was wiping aryan tears with her small hands. Sia was just looking at them with calm expression.

It means ma'am never.., a thought came in his mind and a relief wash over on his face, he looked at Sia with admiration and pride.

"Let's cut the cake.", Aryan said and stand pihu on the chair, Sia and Aryan grabbed pihu's hand to cut the cake, "Dimple uncle you also come", pihu said with innocent eyes. Kabir was surprised, how can I.. its their family. 

"Oh no.. pihu you cut the cake", kabir said with small smile. "No.. you also come..", Pihu said insisting, before he could say anything, Sia caught his hand and placed his hand on top of her hand and Pihu happily cut the cake, Kabir stood frozen at his place, he was looking at Sia's face dumbfounded.

Pihu first fed cake to Sia with her hands and then to Aryan.., both of them also fed cake to him, Pihu then filled her hand with cake and placed it in front of Kabir, only then Kabir came to his senses.., he took a bite and fed cake to her too, she giggled.

Then Pihu went to Kavita aunty and fed cake to them too, after that to Victor, Angelina, Anvesha and Lucas too, at last she fed cake to all the servants with her own hands, there was smile on everyone's face, because Pihu's presence itself was very joyful, everyone stayed with her with great love, and Pihu also played with them.

Everyone gave her some gift or the other. Kabir was hesitant to give his gift, because it was not expensive, like everyone gave her. "Dimple uncle what gift have you brought for me..", Pihu asked with her big two eyes, he made her sit on a chair and then took out a box from his pocket.

"what is in this..", Aryan asked looking at the box with narrowed eyes.

"Umm.., its not an expensive gift just a pair of Payal, in our house it is said that, daughters are form of goddess.., and if we have to give them something first time then Payal is the best, they say that, just like the jingle of Payal makes the house joyful, similarly the laughter of daughters also brings happiness to the house", Kabir said opening the box lid.

he took out a very cute anklets and wore it in Pihu's little delicate feet, a bright smile came on her face, "This is very cute.., thank you Dimple uncle..", Pihu said with happiness and kissed his cheeks, he put her down and she ran here and there, the sound of her anklets was echoing everywhere, along with sound of her laughter was also making the whole place happy.

He looked at Sia who was looking at him only, there were some unexpressed emotions in her eyes, which Kabir was not able to understand but the way she was looking at him rose goosebumps in his body.

After some time everyone came inside, the servants served the food and everyone had dinner peacefully. Only the sound of Aryan and Pihu talking was coming and Pihu was sitting on the chair and shaking her legs due to which the sound of anklets were also coming, she was so happy.

After dinner everyone left for the rooms, Kabir was staying in a guest room. he was still thinking about Sia and Pihu, how despite there being no blood relation between them Sia loves her like her own daughter.

"There is something special about her..", he muttered a smile came on his face as he thought about how Sia grabbed his hand and put it over her hand, he looked at his palm, 'Thoda thoda pyaar hua Sia se ki thoda thoda iqraar bhi kar do usse..', his subconscious mind teased him, his face turned red at the thought of falling for her. 

"No it is not like that", he tried to defy his mind "ke jyada bhi hoga usi se, haa thoda thoda pyaar hua sia se", his subconscious mind sang the song again. he felt his face burning and turning red from blushing of his own thoughts. "Shut up", he scolded his mind.

He laid down on bed but his mind stuck on Sia, he can't able to sleep while his subconscious mind teasing him, so irritated he stood up and came out of his room, there was darkness everywhere, he thought to take some fresh air, he came out of the palace and were going towards backyard before he reached there, he heard some noises, so he tip toed towards the noise and his eyes widen.

When he saw Sia and Victor fighting, Sia throw a punch towards him but he dodge it and he grabbed her hand and threw her to the ground, a gasp came out of Kabir mouth but he quickly put his hand over his mouth. 

"Why are they fighting..", Kabir thought and was about to take towards them when Victor's stern voice came, "This won't work Sia, if you can't able fight now, then how will you fight the upcoming battle".

Sia was looking him with her red eyes, she stood up from the ground and again threw a punch on his face, Victor turned down but then Sia kicked him on his stomach, which made his steps shake but he did not fall on the ground., "No one has the courage to defeat Sia Ragini Raichand..", she said with gritted teeth.

"Huh.., really but Abhay Khurana had already done this four years ago, didn't he", Victor said with a cruel smile. Sia face turned dark, her fist clench tightly, her breath turned sharp, she was looking at Victor as if she would take his life right now.

"Uska to mei vo haal karungi ki vo pachtayega, pyaar karta hai na vo apni Rooh se.., agar usse uski rooh na cheen li to mei SR nhi, tadpega vo aur tab jaake mera badla pura hoga usse, aur mere badle ki shuruwat ho chuki hai.., maine jo aag unke rishte mei lagai hai vo chaah ke bhi bhuja nhi payega.., ab uski Rooh hi uski rooh cheenegi..", she said with evil smile.

(I will make him feel that he will regret it, he loves his Rooh, if I doesn't take his Rooh away from him then I'm not SR, he will yearn and only then will my revenge be complete from him, and my revenge has already begun, the fire that I have ignited in their relationship, he will not be able to reduced it even if he want to, now hi Rooh will take his Soul)

"You're such a devil SR..", Anvesha's voice came from behind, there Lucas and Angelina sitting with Anvesha, they had whiskey glass and was enjoying their fight. Sia and Victor also went near them and sat on chairs, Sia took a sip when Victor said, "so what is your plan.."

"He is proud that no one can make him fall, now see tomorrow's headlines, Mr. Khurana was seen molesting a girl..", she laughed darkly, they all laughed hearing her words.

"You're such a cruel woman SR, you are trying to trap him in a false scandal..", Anvesha said with a sinister laugh. 

"Now he have made a mistake then he have to suffer..", Sia said sipping her whiskey. while Kabir was standing behind a pillar hearing their sinister plan.

He felt someone choking his breath, his eyes brimmed with tears, he could not even think about the one whom he had loved, she would stoop so low  for just a revenge to think to ruin someone's life, he left from there to his room.
